with Frontera Audubon.  Call us about 2010 plans now.

Covey of Adults: Small Group Birding

For the birder who enjoys excelling bird guide services and a
chance to share these experiences (and costs) with a small adult
group .....

Book trips soon before extension options are no longer
available.  This is especially important for the rainforest
extensions for Ecuador in April and May.

Also, please call us if you are interested in upcoming trips
to Panama, Sri Lanka and Uganda, Spain and the United
Kingdom.  2008 and early 2009 dates are developing for
both adult trips and family birding trips.
Nestling Tours 2009:  We are just starting to plan our 2009 Schedule (here in
November 2007)
  • Our small group (6 to 8 participants) trips or Covey of Adults will include trips
    to nearly every continent.
  • Several South American destinations (Bolivia (September 2009), Brazil (October
2009), Ecuador from Quito (early April 2009), Southern Ecuador (starts Jan. 24,
2009), and Peru (August 2009) will have Lelis Navarrete as the main bird guide with
American hosts.  We will probably add a trip to Venezuela.
  • Ted Floyd (author of the upcoming Smithsonian Guide to North American Birds and
the editor of Birding Magazine) has indicated he will host our Uganda 2009 trip.  Ted
will get great support from a number of local guides.
  • We will continue to work with Patrick Cardwell and develop trips to South Africa and
Namibia.  Patrick is based in South Africa and uses a host of local birding guides for
    each destination.
  • Harry Fuller is developing an interesting 2 or 3 week European trip, using local guides
and hitting great birding locales in Spain and Portugal with an extension to France.
  • A trip to Sri Lanka is being developed by John Drummond and is sure to be garner a
lot of interest early on.  Drummond (or Che as I call him) knows the birds there, but will
rely on a number of local guides.  This will be an excellent trip.
  • I look forward to developing a family birding festival in Colorado for June or July 2009
    (tentative dates).
  • As of this web version, I know I am missing a few trips, but keep checking here for more
    2009 plans
